This one's for you

I'm in the kitchen, and I see one of the cats prowling around the back door. This one:

I opened the door and she hissed. Before going into the night to discover her adversary, I analyzed the situation. I remembered what horror movies teach us, and the patterns we should look for. In this case, the animal is alerted to some presence that is not seen. The person ventures out to see what is causing all the fuss. Then, from the bush, the unsightly creature leaps out and devours the person, and then the animal. I learned from this and took a rake with me. I did not find anything. Anyway...

I decided to put my pause my education in order to prepare and serve a mission. I didn't anticipate the process to take as long as it will. I've been home now from school for a month and a half now, and I will probably be home for a while longer. Paperwork needed to be transferred and interviews need to be scheduled, and then there is the period between receiving the call and reporting. Nothing it tremendously difficult, but there is an element of time associated with every step.

So for now, I'm not up to much of anything. I miss school and the friends I've made there. Other than that, I am healthy and content.
